Job summary

St. Charles Health System in Bend, Oregon, seeks an Ambulatory Pharmacy Services Director to provide leadership across ambulatory and outpatient pharmacy services.

The role oversees budgeting, staffing, compliance, and operations, and directly manages pharmacy leaders and caregivers to drive high reliability and patient care. The position requires a PharmD, Oregon licensure, 7+ years of pharmacy experience including 2 years in management, and an ASHP PGY-1 residency or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy.
• Current license or eligibility to be licensed as Pharmacist by Oregon Board of Pharmacy.
• Seven (7) years pharmacy experience and two (2) years in a management role; ASHP PGY-1 residency or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual plan with goals for service areas.
• Deploy strategic plan for ambulatory and outpatient pharmacies across the health system.
• Ensure compliance with policy, legal and regulatory requirements (FDA, DEA, Joint Commission, CMS, Oregon Board).
• Oversee financial performance including budgeting and cost efficiencies.
• Lead and coach pharmacy leaders to standardize practice and improve patient care.
