Job summary

Pomona College seeks an Executive Director of Engagement and Experience to lead alumni, family, and volunteer engagement, along with the Office of College Events. You will shape a comprehensive strategy, drive participation, and cultivate philanthropy across diverse constituencies.

Reporting to the Chief Experience and Engagement Officer, you will build a high-performing team, implement data-driven programs, and align engagement with institutional objectives and campaign goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible leadership in alumni relations/advancement.
• Experience in higher education administration or nonprofit leadership is expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-year engagement and experience strategy across alumni, families, volunteers, and events.
• Oversee Alumni Association and Office of College Events; manage budgets and teams.
• Partner with Advancement to support campaign goals and donor engagement.
