Job summary

AiDASH, Inc. is hiring a Head of Engineering, AI Platform, to build our Data Inference AI Pipeline team from the ground up. You will shape architecture, culture, and hiring, owning the pipeline powering our AI products as customer demand grows.

You will report to the VP of Engineering, set engineering practices, and own technical decisions while scaling a global team. Based in the SF Bay Area with hybrid work across Palo Alto, CA.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering, with 3–5+ years in leadership of engineering teams.
• Experience building data/ML pipelines at scale.
• Hands-on experience with AI systems, including RAG, HITL concepts, deployed to production.
• Strong background in cloud-native, multi-tenant SaaS architectures (AWS, Kubernetes, microservices).
• Experience managing global, distributed engineering teams across time zones.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Build the Data Inference AI Pipeline team and hiring plan.
• Define charter, headcount, and first hires across AiDASH.
• Architect a scalable multimodal data inference pipeline for growth.
• Establish engineering practices: code review, testing, on-call, release process.
• Lead engineering managers and leads; coach, develop, & manage performance.
• Collaborate with Product, Data Science, and Design on roadmap trade-offs.
• Own technical decisions within scope; coordinate with VP on strategy.
