Job summary

AiDASH, Inc. in Palo Alto, CA is seeking a Head of Engineering, AI Platform to build and lead the Data Inference AI Pipeline team from day one. You will shape architecture, culture, and hiring bar for a high-growth AI platform.

You will own technical decisions, collaborate with Product, Data Science, and Design, and partner with the VP of Engineering on roadmaps and resourcing. This role offers substantial ownership and impact.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 3–5+ years leading engineering teams (managers or senior ICs).
• Experience architecting data/ML pipelines at scale with considerations of throughput, latency and cost.
• Strong background in cloud-native, multi-tenant SaaS architectures (AWS, Kubernetes, microservices).
• Experience building AI systems shipped to production for real customers.

Responsibilities

• Build the Data Inference AI Pipeline team and hire core members.
• Architect a scalable multimodal data inference pipeline.
• Develop model training and HITL feedback loops to ensure accuracy.
• Establish engineering practices (code review, testing, on-call, release process).
• Lead and grow the team by hiring, coaching, and developing managers/leads.
• Collaborate with Product, Data Science, and Design to shape roadmaps.
• Own technical decisions and coordinate with VP of Engineering.
