Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, engineering, data science, AI, ML or related quantitative field.
• Typically 7–15 years of experience.
• 5+ years of people management experience.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with cloud platforms, big data technologies, and distributed computing frameworks is a plus.
• Strong understanding of data privacy, security, and ethical considerations in AI and machine learning.
• Strong technical expertise in AI and machine learning algorithms, models, and tools.
• Proficiency in Python or R.
• Demonstrated leadership and management skills, including leading and mentoring AI and machine learning professional teams.
• Advanced degree is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive the organization's AI and machine learning strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Identify AI and machine learning application opportunities and evaluate emerging technologies and trends.
• Lead and manage data scientists, machine learning engineers, and AI specialists
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and career development support
• Allocate resources, ensure high team performance, and foster collaboration and innovation
• Oversee complex AI and machine learning projects from conception to deployment
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project risks, and ensure successful delivery
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on advanced models and algorithms
• Collaborate with senior management, business leaders, and domain experts to translate needs into AI and machine learning solutions
• Communicate AI and machine learning value to non-technical stakeholders
• Provide regular updates on project progress, outcomes, and strategic insights
