Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Executive Director of AI Infrastructure & Platform Engineering to stand up and operate a frontier-class GPU compute platform in CVS data centers. You will shape the operating model, hire and develop the team, and drive reliability at scale.

This greenfield initiative requires strategic leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and a relentless focus on availability, performance, and cost control.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering leadership with data-center infra experience.
• Hands-on ownership of bare-metal Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Experience with high-speed fabrics and platform reliability.
• Experience leading 24/7 operations teams and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute long-range vision for AI infra and platform engineering.
• Build and lead a 24/7 operations model with uptime targets.
• Establish SRE practice, observability, and change control.
• Oversee vendor relationships and budget for AI infra.
• Drive security/compliance with HIPAA and NIST RMF.
