KLA is seeking a seasoned AI governance leader based in Ann Arbor, MI to establish and operate a company-wide AI governance framework across approved platforms, models, agents, and automation capabilities.

You will drive responsible AI adoption, enforce policies, manage risk, and build dashboards for executive visibility, ensuring deployments are safe, compliant, and cost‑effective while aligning with legal and security requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering/Data Science or related field.
• 10+ years in IT/governance/security/data or AI program leadership.
• 5 years leading cross-functional governance initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of generative AI, ML, AI lifecycle, and data privacy concepts.
• Ability to translate AI concepts into clear business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Establishing and operating KLA’s AI governance framework across all approved AI platforms, models, agents, and automation capabilities
• Focusing on responsible AI adoption, policy enforcement, risk management, compliance, platform guardrails, AI inventory, approval workflows, and executive visibility
• Ensuring AI is deployed safely, transparently, cost-effectively, and in alignment with business, legal, security, privacy, and regulatory expectations
• Developing policies, standards, intake processes, risk frameworks, approval models, executive dashboards, and governance operating models
