You will lead engineering, hiring, and strategic direction for Neutral Foundations, delivering LLM/MCP Gateways and guiding model routing and evaluations. You will collaborate with Product, Security, Legal, and Finance to ensure governance, spend controls, and responsible AI deployment, while growing leadership within the foundations team.

Qualifications

• Lead AI Foundations engineering with hiring, coaching, technical direction, and delivery across shared AI services.
• Partner with Product and senior engineers to balance rapid model/agent innovation with reliability, security, and cost.
• Own vendor relationships and governance on AI spend; collaborate with Security, Legal, and Finance.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI Foundations engineering, including hiring, coaching, technical direction, prioritization, and delivery across shared AI services.
• Partner with Product and senior engineers to balance rapid model/agent innovation with reliability, security, developer experience, and cost.
• Own engineering vendor relationships and operational readiness; partner with Security, Legal, and Finance on AI governance and spend controls.
• Establish a 2027 strategy and roadmap for the Neutral Foundations pillar.
• Drive operational excellence of AI primitives/services.
• Deliver LLM Gateway and MCP Gateway; pave road for model routing and evaluations.
• Grow the next rung of leadership on AI Foundations.
