Job summary

Ingram Micro, Irvine, CA, seeks a hands-on Manager, Agentic AI Engineering to lead a team delivering production-grade AI agents on the AICOE platform. You will shape engineering maturity, manage delivery across multiple agents, and collaborate with Platform, Architecture, and AI Ops while partnering with business owners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, or related field (Master's preferred).
• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years of engineering management experience leading technical teams.
• 1-2+ years shipping GenAI/LLM/agentic solutions to production.
• Strong Python skills with ability to review code and designs.
• Experience with APIs, distributed systems, vector databases, and RAG architectures.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (GCP/AWS/Azure).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management with non-technical owners.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of ~10 early-career Agent Builders (0–3 years).
• Oversee portfolio management: intake, prioritization, estimation, sprint planning, status reporting.
• Guide design, build, and deployment of agentic and multi-agent solutions, including LLM-powered apps and tool integrations.
• Review designs and code, unblock builders, and contribute hands-on when needed.
• Ensure platform alignment with governance, quality, and release standards.
• Collaborate with Platform, Architecture, and AI Ops teams and business owners.
