Job summary

Boston University Admissions seeks a Senior Assistant Director for Admissions Ambassadors to lead eight student coordinators and 150 ambassadors, plus recruit and train 24 Summer Student Admissions Representatives, ensuring a high-quality campus visit for thousands of visitors.

The role partners with ENSA staff and offices, overseeing weekly goals, training materials, and volunteer recruitment to maintain exceptional campus visit experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3–5 years of direct experience, with 2+ years of management experience.
• Background in admissions or student affairs.
• Demonstrates ability to supervise and mentor students.
• Strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead weekly meetings and set goals for campus visitation programs and the ambassador program.
• Create training manuals, workshops, and evaluation tools for volunteers.
• Support campus visit experiences for prospective students and families, including greeting and registering visitors for events and tours.
• Assign work to 150 admissions volunteers to ensure tours and programs run smoothly and on time.
• Manage recruitment, selection, and training of two Student Coordinators and 22 staff for Summer SAR program.
