Solid Rock Recruiting, LLC. is seeking a Director of Accounting to lead the company's financial operations, ensure GAAP-compliant reporting, strengthen internal controls, and manage cash flow and project costing.

In this hands-on leadership role, you will coordinate with executives and department heads, drive WIP and revenue recognition, supervise the accounting team, and deliver timely, insightful financial analysis to support strategic decisions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
7–10+ years progressive accounting experience with leadership.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
Experience with construction accounting, project accounting or job costing.
Experience with WIP reporting, forecasting, revenue recognition, and cash-flow management.
Experience managing accounting personnel.
Strong ERP/accounting-system and Excel skills.
Excellent analytical, organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

Responsabilités

Oversee accounting operations (GL, AP, AR, payroll, reconciliations) and month-end close.
Ensure timely GAAP financial reporting and executive analytics.
Review contracts and purchase orders for accuracy and terms.
Coordinate year-end reporting, tax prep, and CPA requirements.
Oversee WIP, job costing, revenue recognition, and project profitability.
Maintain cash flow forecasting and working-capital management.
Develop and maintain internal controls and procedures.
Lead and develop Accounting Department staff.
Provide financial insights to leadership for strategic decisions.
