Job summary

Oishii seeks a General Manager of Operations for its Phillipsburg, NJ facility. You will own safety, quality, production, people, and costs with P&L responsibility across Farm, Pack, Facilities, and Maintenance, guiding a high-performing leadership team in a 24/7 indoor vertical farming operation.

You will drive continuous improvement, optimize operations, and build scalable processes to support growth, while mentoring leaders at all levels and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive leadership in warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or production operations.
• 5+ years leading large-scale food, CPG, manufacturing, or production operations in highly automated facilities.

Responsibilities

• Own the overall performance of the Phillipsburg facility with full accountability for safety, quality, production, people, cost, customer fulfillment, and operational excellence.
• Lead all site operations, including Farm, Pack, Facilities, Maintenance, Safety, and Security, with full P&L ownership.
• Build and develop a high-performing leadership team and foster accountability and continuous learning.
• Drive talent strategy across the site by developing leaders and managing performance.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, sanitation, regulatory, and workplace safety standards.
• Establish, monitor, and improve key operational metrics using data to drive results.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, automation, product quality and profitability.
• Partner cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Sales, Engineering, R&D, People, and other leaders.
• Provide decisive leadership during operational challenges and ensure business continuity.
• Build scalable processes and organizational capability for future growth.
