About This Role

The Head Nurse for Emergency Services is responsible for directing the nursing regimen for adult patients in the emergency department, ensuring high-quality care through supervision and evaluation of nursing staff.

Highlights

• Pay: $116,159/year
• Location: Queens, NY
• Facility: Elmhurst Hospital Center
• Department/Unit: EMERGENCY ROOM SERVICE ADULT
• Schedule: Full-Time, Evening (11:00am-9:30pm), alternating weekends

What You'll Do

Requirements

• Experience:
• Experience as a Head Nurse preferred.
• Licenses & Certifications:
• Current New York State RN License required.

Additional Compensation

• Annual education differential based on degree:
  • Bachelors in allied health discipline = $900
  • Masters in allied health discipline = $1,200
  • Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) = $1,800
  • Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) = $2,000
  • Doctorate in Education, Nursing Practice or PhD in Nursing (DNP) = $2,500
• Annual certification differential ranging from $1,878 up to $4,878 for appropriate nationally recognized certifications.
• Annual nursing experience differential ranging from $1,042 up to $8,645 for up to 10 years of experience.
