Job description

Work outdoors throughout the summer season at the Aquatics facilities. Maintain the cleanliness for the pool and surrounding areas. Provide excellent customer service and enforce all policies and procedures to ensure the safety of all patrons. Assist the Aquatics Manager to ensure accurate pool chemistry. Supervise Aquatics Team Members, address patron issues when they arise and communicate Aquatics facilities/team needs with management.

Some essential job functions include:

1. Provide pool surveillance with 100% attention across different pools and locations.
2. Enforce all policies and procedures described in the Aquatics Staff Manual.
3. Play a key role in implementing the Emergency Action Plan when required.
4. Document all incidents on appropriate incident report forms.
5. Work with Aquatics Supervisor to bring facility up to operating conditions, including:
6. Cleaning and setting-up pool furniture (i.e. umbrellas, chairs, tables, etc.)
7. Cleaning facilities (i.e. Sports Club guardrooms, etc.)
8. Supervise the operations of the pool(s) in conjunction with the Aquatics Supervisor
