Job Overview: We are currently a Head Lifeguard servicing an indoor swimming pool for a high-end retail company's headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon.

Responsibilities:

1. Serve as the primary contact and liaison for the aquatics team when the Director of Aquatics is unavailable or off-site.
2. Participate in monthly aquatics leadership meetings to support team coordination.
3. Maintain consistent and regular presence on the lifeguard schedule and provide shift coverage as needed.
4. Plan and facilitate monthly in-service trainings, conduct quarterly lifeguard audits and semi-annual swim instructor audits to ensure compliance.
5. Partner with the Director of Aquatics to develop team-building ideas to create and maintain strong team morale through daily check-ins and ongoing support for lifeguards.
6. Submit and track maintenance work orders, update maintenance binder/playbook, and monitor and respond to member inquiries promptly.

Requirements:

• Six months experience as a lifeguard
• Experience supervising or mentoring team members is highly valued
• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent (college attendance preferred)
• Current lifeguard certification and CPR certification
• Demonstrated organizational, communication, and service-oriented skills
