Job description

Kent Place School seeks a Head JV Field Hockey Coach for the Fall 2025 season (August 18 - November 23). This role requires high school coaching experience (collegiate experience in coaching or playing preferred) and a commitment to building a positive, competitive team culture focused on student growth, fundamentals, and sportsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and educate student-athletes in all aspects of field hockey.
2. Plan and implement practices and game strategies.
3. Supervise assistant coaches and ensure student safety.
4. Coordinate schedules, team tryouts, and preseason activities.
5. Promote team culture through communication and mentorship.
6. Uphold school values and diversity, equity, and inclusion practices.

Schedule: Weekdays, 3:45-6:00 PM (some games may run later).
