Head JV Field Hockey Coach

Who You Are

The Episcopal Academy Girls' Field Hockey is seeking a Head JV field hockey coach for the Fall 2024 season. This position assists the Head Varsity Coach with organizing and supervising practices, setting up and taking down equipment, handing out equipment, and assisting with drills. Candidates must have experience in coaching, recruiting, traveling, and must commit to providing a positive student-athlete experience. The position also assists in the training, teaching, and conditioning of student-athletes and participates in achieving departmental goals and objectives.

About You

The ideal candidate for the Head JV Field Hockey Coach at The Episcopal Academy will possess the following:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) year of coaching experience.
• Effective interpersonal, communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Valid PA drivers license.
• Ability to work with diverse populations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of basic field hockey formations and tactics.
• Positive and effective communicator.
• Playing experience in high school is required but college experience is preferred.
• Passion for coaching and competing.
• Prior coaching experience and/or coaching license preferred, but not required.
