Gallatin County Schools is seeking a dedicated Coach responsible for implementing a sound athletic program in a specific sport. The role includes promoting sports, organizing practices, and supervising assistant coaches while ensuring eligibility of participants and compliance with athletic regulations.
The ideal candidate must have at least 64 semester hours from an accredited institution, Kentucky coaches education program certification, and be at least 21 years of age. Physical demands include various athletic activities and the ability to communicate effectively.

Administers and implements a sound athletic program in the specific sport. The coach has the responsibility to instruct athletes under their direction in the fundamental skills and strategy and physical training necessary for them to realize some degree of individual and team success. The coach must teach sound social behavior and endeavor to promote good public relations.
The work is performed while standing or walking. It requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing. The work requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations. The work at times requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching, with the ability to lift, carry, push or pull light weights.
