Job summary

Holiday Inn is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping team and uphold the high standards our guests expect. You will oversee operations and ensure cleanliness throughout the hotel.

The role requires a motivated leader with strong attention to detail and a passion for hospitality. You will coordinate schedules, train staff, collaborate with front desk and maintenance, and drive guest satisfaction while maintaining safety and budgets.

Qualifications

• Experience managing housekeeping in a hotel or similar environment.
• Ability to lead and develop a team to deliver consistent cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the housekeeping team including room attendants, laundry staff, and public spaces attendants.
• Ensure guest rooms and public areas meet brand cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Conduct routine inspections of rooms and hotel spaces.
• Coordinate daily room assignments and cleaning schedules based on occupancy levels.
• Manage housekeeping supplies, linen inventory, and department budgets.
• Train and coach staff on cleaning procedures, safety practices, and guest service expectations.
• Respond to guest requests or concerns related to room cleanliness promptly and professionally.
• Work closely with the front desk and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are guest-ready.
• Maintain compliance with safety procedures and chemical handling guidelines.

What You’ll Do

Work Environment

This role works throughout the hotel including guest rooms, hallways, laundry facilities, and public spaces. The position involves standing, walking, lifting supplies, and inspecting rooms during shifts.
