Job summary

Golf Club Pequot Lakes in Minnesota seeks a Head Golf Professional to lead our golf operations and sales efforts. You will oversee the Golf Shop, Outside Services, and Player Assistance staff, with a hands-on leadership role in tee sheet management, tournaments, leagues, and club events.

The role emphasizes outbound sales, prospecting, and renewals for golf outings and corporate events, with seasonal planning for the upcoming season.

Qualifications

PGA Associate or member in good standing.
Minimum two years of golf course experience.
Experience as assistant golf professional or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage daily Golf Operations and staff.
Create staff schedules and maximize labor efficiency.
Manage and optimize the tee sheet to increase rounds and revenue.
Plan and execute tournaments, leagues, outings, and Club events.
Serve as the primary Golf Genius administrator.
Generate new outing, corporate event, advertising, and sponsorship business.
Conduct outbound sales, including calls, emails, prospecting, and customer follow-up.
Manage event contracts, details, and customer communication.
Maintain strong relationships with members, guests, event organizers, and business partners.
Coordinate Golf Operations with Grounds, Food & Beverage, and Club management.
Help achieve departmental revenue, labor, sales, and operating goals.
