Qualifications

• Strong communication skills are required to interact with members, guests and staff.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word for budget, reporting and communications.
• Familiarity with club financials and cost control concepts.
• Thorough working knowledge of the club’s golf operation and related processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of the club's annual golf budget and financials.
• Maintain inventory counts and understand cost of goods sold in golf operations.
• Manage golf department within payroll budgets and adjust with sales.
• Plan, promote, and direct all golf activities.
• Oversee sale, operation, billing, and collection of golf tournaments.
• Order merchandise for the golf shop to ensure profitability.
• Develop merchandise sales and promotions during holidays and events.
• Provide golf lessons to members and guests and oversee the instruction program.
• Develop and conduct junior golf clinics.
• Coordinate with the golf course superintendent on playability and course conditioning.
• Work with the golf committee to communicate priorities and ensure execution.
