Job summary

GreatLIFE Golf Career Center is seeking a full-time, salaried Golf Course Superintendent for Chaple Ridge Golf Course. The position offers a full benefits package and a salary of $75K–$90K annually, based on education and experience.

The role manages agronomy for the course and club grounds, develops BMPs, builds budgets, and leads a maintenance team while ensuring safety, chemical handling, and recordkeeping compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or AA in agronomy/horticulture/soil science or equivalent.
• 3–4 years related experience and/or training; degree preferred in agronomy/horticulture.
• Pesticide applicator license within 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage BMPs for the golf course properties.
• Build annual agronomic budget and a 12‑month labor and operational plan.
• Lead maintenance staff and ensure cross-training across operations.
• Maintain safety programs in compliance with laws and regulations.
• Oversee irrigation systems, chemical storage and recordkeeping.
• Plan construction projects and ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
• Attend turf conferences to stay current on turf innovations.
