Responsibilities

• Coaches individual participants in skills for achievement in the sport.
• Plans and schedules a regular program of practice in season.
• Oversees safety conditions of the facility at all times when students are present.
• Maintains accurate statistics, records, and results of the season.
• Enforces discipline and sportsmanlike behavior; sets penalties for breaches.
• Maintains competency in rules, interpretations, meet procedures, and coaching techniques.
• Establishes eligibility criteria for interscholastic competition.
• Injuries prevention and follow up protocols.
