Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coaches individual participants in basketball skills for excellence.
• Plans and schedules a regular practice program in season.
• Oversees safety conditions of the facility when students are present.
• Maintains accurate statistics, records, and season results.
• Enforces discipline and sportsmanlike behavior, and sets penalties for breaches.
• Maintains current knowledge of rules, interpretations, and procedures for the sport.
• Establishes eligibility criteria for interscholastic competition and applies them consistently.
• Adheres to injury prevention and follow-up programs.
