Job summary

North Wasco County School District 21 in The Dalles, OR, seeks a Girls Wrestling Head Coach to lead our high school program for grades 9–12. You will manage practices, game scheduling, and staff coordination, while promoting sportsmanship and student academic success.

The role requires 3–5 years of head coaching experience in wrestling at the 4A level or higher, with preferred collegiate coaching background. This is an extra-duty/seasonal position with district-based compensation.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years head coaching experience in the sport.
• Experience as coordinator at 4A level or higher preferred.
• Previous collegiate coaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct practices and organize sessions for grades 9–12.
• Coordinate with Athletic Director and other staff.
• Schedule games and manage equipment/inventories.
• Enforce team rules and ensure sportsmanship and safety.
• Communicate with parents, officials and district staff.
