Mansfield City Schools is seeking a High School Girls Bowling Coach for the 2026-2027 school year at Mansfield Senior High School. The role involves coaching, organizing the bowling program, and mentoring student athletes.

The coach will supervise staff, ensure adherence to athletic policies, and promote character development, sportsmanship, and academic progress among athletes. Collaboration with the Athletic Director and principals is required.

Qualifications

• Has the ability to organize and supervise a total sports program.
• Has previous successful coaching experience in bowling.
• The head coach must have substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport and examine new theories and procedures pertinent to the field.
• The head coach must serve as an appropriate role model for student athletes through his/her instructions and actions.

Responsabilités

• Has a thorough knowledge of all athletic policies approved by the Mansfield City Schools Board of Education and is responsible for their implementation by the entire staff of the sports program.
• Has knowledge of existing system, state and league regulations; implements same consistently and interprets them for staff.
• Understands the proper administrative line of command and refers all requests or grievances through proper channels.
• Establishes the fundamental philosophy, skills and techniques to be taught by staff; designs conferences, clinics and staff meetings to ensure staff awareness of the overall program.
• Trains and informs staff, encourages professional growth by clinics attendance according to local policy.
• Delegates duties, supervises implementation and evaluates staff effectiveness.
• Maintains discipline, adjusts grievances and works to increase morale and cooperation.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director or Principal.
