Job summary

Mansfield City Schools invites applications for the Assistant Girls Volleyball Coach for the 2025-2026 school year at Mansfield Senior High School. The coach will follow district policies, work with athletic directors and principals, and mentor student athletes in academics and athletic excellence.

Qualifications

• Has the ability to organize and supervise a total sports program.
• Has previous successful coaching experience in volleyball.
• The coach must have substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport and, at the same time, must continue to examine new theories and procedures pertinent to the field.
• The coach must serve as an appropriate role model for student athletes through his/her instructions and actions.

Responsibilities

• Has a thorough knowledge of athletic policies approved by Mansfield City Schools Board of Education and ensures implementation by staff.
• Knows system, state and league regulations; applies them consistently and interprets for staff.
• Understands proper administrative command lines and routes requests through proper channels.
