We’re hiring a Chief Engineer to lead the engineering and facilities operation at The Clyde Hotel in Downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico.
This isn’t simply a role focused on fixing what breaks. We’re looking for a leader who thinks about the entire life of the building: preventative maintenance, infrastructure, capital planning, safety, energy efficiency, team development and, ultimately, the guest experience.
The Clyde is a large, full-service hotel and convention property, which means our Chief Engineer will lead a complex operation spanning HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boilers, chillers, life safety systems, building automation, commercial kitchens, guest rooms, meeting and event spaces and more.
We’re especially interested in leaders who have experience managing engineering operations within a large hotel, resort, convention property or similarly complex commercial facility.
Credentials such as CHFE, First Class Stationary Engineer, EPA 608 Universal, GPRO Operations & Maintenance, OSHA 30 or comparable technical qualifications are highly valued.
But credentials alone aren’t what will make someone successful here.
We’re looking for a leader. This opportunity is for someone who can build a strong team, manage budgets and capital projects, anticipate problems before they become emergencies and understand that great engineering is an essential part of great hospitality.
If you’ve reached the point in your career where you’re ready to take ownership of a major hotel asset and make a visible impact, we’d love to hear from you.
