SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement training programs tailored to the specific discipline.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to athletes to enhance their skills and performance.
• Organize and oversee team practices, competitions, and events.
• Ensure the safety and well‑being of all athletes during training sessions and events.
• Collaborate with other coaches to create a cohesive coaching environment.
• Monitor athlete progress and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
• Other duties are requested by the athletic director.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in coaching or participating in activities in diving.
• Strong background in Physical Education or related fields.
• Experience working with students of various ages and skill levels.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to motivate and inspire athletes.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting to achieve common goals.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand for long periods of time and must manually move, lift, carry, pull or push heavy objects or materials. There is stooping, bending, and reaching. The employee will often be in chlorinated water and a humid environment.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Coaching opportunities are available for one or both of the following seasons:

• Fall (Girls): August–November
• Winter (Boys): November–March

These are part‑time positions requiring an estimated 10–15 hours per week, including practices, games, and related team responsibilities.
