Job summary

The coach will lead practices, monitor student progress, ensure compliance with district policies, coordinate with the athletic director, and mentor staff and volunteers to uphold program standards.

Qualifications

• Previous successful coaching experience in assigned sport.
• Other education/experience as accepted by the school board and administration.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of athletic policies approved by the Northeastern York Schools' Board and implements them by the staff.
• Understands command structure and follows proper channels for requests or grievances.
• Performs duties assigned by the High School Head Coach, Athletic Director or Building Principal.
• Designs staff conferences, clinics and meetings to ensure program awareness.
• Trains staff and encourages professional growth through clinic attendance.
• Delegates duties, supervises implementation and evaluates staff effectiveness.
