Job summary

The coach will model behaviors that foster character, self-discipline, confidence, and school pride, while pursuing knowledge through clinics and observations.

The role includes leading staff development, coordinating with the athletic director on event logistics, and mentoring athletes in academics and conduct to uphold program standards.

Qualifications

• Previous successful coaching experience in assigned sport.
• Other education/experience as accepted by the school board and administration

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of athletic policies approved by the Northeastern York Schools' Board of Directors and ensures staff adherence.
• Trains staff and promotes professional development via clinics and meetings.
• Directs student managers, assistants and statisticians and evaluates staff performance.
• Coordinates scheduling, transportation and requirements for events with the athletic director.
