Job summary

Taher, Inc. is hiring for a dedicated kitchen team member to deliver high-quality guest meals and maintain food safety standards. You will prepare meals, portion accurately, and support daily operations with a positive, professional attitude.

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience preferred.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to adapt and change in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to do simple arithmetic.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Be able to lift 30 Lbs. and stand for extended periods of time.
• Dependable, punctual.
• Ability to follow all safe food handling requirements.
• Successfully pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest quality of guest service at all times.
• Execute recipes to the letter.
• Prepare meals by using correct portioning, meeting standards, ensuring proper temperatures, and appealing presentation.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
• Follows and completes production sheets.
• Meet deadlines in daily workload completion.
• Store or discard excess food per safe handling procedures.
• Set up and tear down of workstation.
• Receive and unpack food deliveries.
• Ensure food and supplies are stored per standards.
• Maintain polite and professional communication.
• Understand and utilize FIFO.
• Perform other related duties as requested by leadership.

• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
• Follows and completes production sheets
