Job summary

EFFINGHAM COMMUNITY UNIT SCHOOL DISTRICT #40 is seeking a dedicated Head Cook to manage daily school meal service at CGS. This full-time role requires strong leadership, the ability to operate during an 8-hour shift, and a focus on safe, hygienic food preparation for large student counts.

Candidates must hold a Food Protection Manager's Certification and demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills to coordinate with staff, ensure timely service, and maintain high sanitation
