Job summary

Be Beyond Great Tumbling Studio is seeking a dependable Lead Coach to oversee daily recreational tumbling and youth instructional programs. You will implement the owner's master schedule, coordinate staff assignments, and support families while ensuring safety and high instructional quality.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader who enjoys developing coaches, solving problems, and creating a positive, structured learning environment for children.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in tumbling, gymnastics, cheerleading, youth sports, or similar instructional setting.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to child safety and positive youth development.
• Ability to lead a team and provide constructive feedback.
• Experience with staff training and onboarding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily recreational class operations and ensure safety, quality, and on-time starts.
• Coordinate coach schedules, coverage, and staff rotations; notify owner of issues.
• Lead staff training, implement curriculum, and ensure orientation completion.
• Ensure lesson plans, warm-ups, progressions, drills, and cooldowns meet standards.
• Maintain facility setup, equipment safety, and cleanliness; follow safety procedures.
• Serve as main point of contact for families and athletes; escalate concerns as needed.
• Monitor attendance, performance, and reporting; provide updates to the owner.
