Queen Creek Unified School District at Queen Creek High School is seeking an Assistant Varsity Basketball Coach to develop coaches and athletes across varsity, JV, and freshman levels, with duties from 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. The program emphasizes competitive opportunities, strength and conditioning, and camps.

You will run camps, ensure compliance with AIA bylaws, and report to the Athletic Director. Qualifications include NFHS Concussion and Fundamentals of Coaching, with 3+ years varsity

JOB GOAL: To develop and maintain an efficient and competitive athletic program. We believe in competitive opportunities, strength and conditioning and camp opportunities. Queen Creek is a 6A athletic sports program that has Varsity, JV and Freshman levels. Assistant Varsity Head Coach is expected to develop coaches and athletes at all 3 levels.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• NFHS Concussion Course
• NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching
• NFHS Bullying, Hazing & Inappropriate Behaviors Course
• Head Coaches must also have NFHS Sport-Specific Course and First Aid Course
• 3+ years of experience preferedof varsity coaching experience
• Ability to pass a background investigation
• Must have substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport and examine new theories and procedures pertinent to the field.

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: Assistant Varsity Basketball 2:30 p.m.- 6 p.m.

COMPENSATION: Per QCUSD salary schedule for applicable position

REPORTS TO: Athletic Director

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
