Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in sports administration, recreation, physical education, or related field; master's preferred.
• Two to four years of coaching experience or equivalent education and experience.
• Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations and student-athlete welfare.
• Ability to work weekends and evenings; strong communication with students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of a NCAA Division III track and field program within Vermont State University.
• Lead practice planning, competition preparation, and staff supervision.
• Recruit and retain qualified student-athletes; monitor academic progress.
• Manage team travel, lodging, and meals; handle alumni relations and fundraising.
• Perform administrative duties within Athletics and Recreation Department.
• Collaborate with NCAA compliance network and external stakeholders.
