Position Summary

Monmouth University is seeking applications for a Head Coach, Men’s and Women’s Swimming in the Athletics department.

The candidate would be expected to: organize, plan and direct all aspects of a Division I program; recruit athletes; assist in the formation and preparation of the budget and oversee the expenditures; assist with alumni and booster activities; cooperate with news media.

This is an on-campus, in-person, non-remote position.

  • Develop an atmosphere of strict adherence to the intent of the university, student, and student-athlete code of conduct by all personnel and student-athletes associated with the swimming program.
  • Hire and supervise all assistant coaches.
  • Organize, plan and direct all aspects of a Division I program.

  • Perform usual and customary coaching activities.
  • Recruit athletes.
  • Assist with alumni and booster activities.
  • Assist in the formation and preparation of the budget and oversee the expenditures.
