Job summary

Jenks Public Schools is seeking a Head Coach for the High School Boys Lacrosse program in Jenks, Oklahoma. The role focuses on building a positive culture, developing relationships with student athletes and parents, and guiding the lacrosse program to athletic excellence.

The successful candidate will plan practices, develop skills, supervise coaches, and collaborate with district staff and Booster Club to provide a high-quality student-athlete experience.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Preferred prior coaching experience.
  • Knowledge of lacrosse strategy and techniques.
  • Ability to work with student athletes, parents, and coaches with positive interactions.
  • Uphold district health and citizenship requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning, development, and execution of the high school boys lacrosse program with a focus on building a positive culture and relationships with student athletes and parents.
  • Implement sound practices and skill development that maximize student athlete performance.
  • Provide direction and evaluation for assistant coaches, youth coaches and teams to ensure continuity and vertical alignment.
  • Communicate effectively with program stakeholders to ensure a positive, quality experience for student athletes.
  • Collaborate with the coordinator, assistant coordinator and Booster Club.
