Individuals in coaching positions develop fundamental skills and understanding of the sport's rules, model cooperation, sportsmanship, and ethical behavior. Coaches determine the system of play, develop strategies, and ensure a safe environment, monitor eligibility and behavior, manage equipment and records, and perform related duties.
