Job Description

The coach will avoid practicing or competing on Sunday. Class attendance by student-athletes should be a priority as schedules are made. Responsible for maintaining budget control of their sport. Responsible for all equipment assigned to sport. Responsible for both the team's practice and competition. The coach will see that transportation is available for travel to all away competition. Responsible for driving or making sure certain that safe drivers are secured. Responsible for securing money for travel well in advance to include lodging, meals, and travel. Responsible for getting player profiles and accomplishments to the Director of Sports Information. Provide meet information to be publicized on the university website and local media outlets. Responsible for the conduct of student-athletes, proper dress and conduct while on the road.
