Sheridan County School District #2 is seeking a Head Basketball Coach for the Boys 7th Grade team at Sheridan Junior High School. Qualifications

• Obtain current endorsement through the Professional Teaching Standards Board (PTSB) prior to the start of coaching responsibilities.
• Maintain all appropriate certifications (CPR, First Aid) and immunizations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the coordination of all programs (7-12).
• Plan and administer staff responsibilities, staff plans, seasonal plans, and student recruiting efforts if applicable.
• Maintain liaison and active participation with other community activities, e.g., recreation.
• Assist in the recruitment, screening, hiring, training, and assignment of coaching staff.
• Assist in the ongoing evaluation of the coaching staff.
