South Block in Washington, DC is seeking a Head Coach to lead a team and uphold our high standards across every shift.

You'll build schedules, train staff, be the go-to for guest needs, and ensure operations run smoothly, from ordering to deposits, while maintaining a safe, welcoming store.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of demonstrated experience managing and motivating a team.
• Willingness to jump in, and lead by example.
• Passion for creating awesome guest experiences.
• Ability to stay cool, flexible, and solution-oriented under pressure.
• 18+ years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Pay & Perks

We offer a competitive compensation package that includes a base salary range of $60,000-$70,000, plus a yearly bonus potential of up to $10,000 (paid out quarterly). In addition, our Head Coaches are eligible to participate in our deferred profit sharing program of up to $12,000/yr.

• Keep the store running smoothly: ordering supplies, tracking inventory, handling deposits, and keeping your store clean and safe.

• Model positivity, accountability, and the South Block spirit - because how you show up sets the tone for the whole block.

What you’ll bring to the role
