Qualifications

• Previous experience coaching children aged 15 months to 11 years is preferred.

• Intermediate knowledge of physiology and exercise technique required.

• CPR certification required or preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Coaching children on brain, physical, and character development.
• Engaging with parents about the KidStrong curriculum.
• Assessing coach performances and managing scheduling.
• Explain the curriculum rationale to parents/guardians.
• Support class operations during weekday and weekend hours.
• Occasionally increase hours with private coaching.

OPEN ROLE & SCHEDULE

• We are looking for coaches with an athletic or coaching background who ideally have experience coaching kids ages 15 months - to 11 years old
• KidStrong Head Coach would focus on coaching children on the brain, physical, and character development that stems from evolving monthly curriculum
• The ideal candidate must also be comfortable speaking to parents/guardians regarding “the why” behind the KidStrong curriculum
• Set schedules for the coaching staff
• Assess and evaluate the center's coaches' performances and execution
• Our classes run weekdays 9 am -11 am and evenings until 7 pm.
• On weekends we start at 8 AM and run through lunchtime.
• Opportunity for a flexible work schedule depending on studio needs.
• Additional opportunity to increase scheduled hours through private class coaching hours.
• Prior experience as a pediatric OT/PT is a plus, but not required!

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Passion for working with children is non-negotiable!
• Previous experience in management is preferred but not required
• Prior experience coaching students within the appropriate KidStrong age group is preferred
• Prior experience speaking to and educating parents on the KidStrong curriculum
• Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics
• CPR certified
• Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
• Self-starter who just gets a job done
