Job summary

KidStrong McDonough is hiring a Head Coach to develop kids' brain, body, and character through our monthly curriculum. You will coach children ages 15 months through 11 years and communicate the why behind our program to parents.

You’ll set schedules for coaching staff, assess performances, and help run weekday sessions 9 am–11 am, evenings until 7 pm, and weekend hours starting at 8 am. Prior pediatric OT/PT is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children is non-negotiable.
• Management experience is preferred but not required.
• Prior experience coaching students in KidStrong age group.
• Experience speaking to and educating parents on the curriculum.
• Knowledge of physiology, exercise technique and body mechanics.
• CPR certification.
• Positive, motivating interpersonal communication skills.
• Self-starter who gets the job done.

OPEN ROLE & SCHEDULE

• We are looking for coaches with an athletic or coaching background who ideally have experience coaching kids ages 15 months - to 11 years old
• KidStrong Head Coach would focus on coaching children on the brain, physical, and character development that stems from evolving monthly curriculum
• The ideal candidate must also be comfortable speaking to parents/guardians regarding “the why” behind the KidStrong curriculum
• Set schedules for the coaching staff
• Assess and evaluate the center's coaches' performances and execution
• Our classes run weekdays 9 am -11 am and evenings until 7 pm.
• On weekends we start at 8 AM and run through lunchtime.
• Opportunity for a flexible work schedule depending on studio needs.
• Additional opportunity to increase scheduled hours through private class coaching hours.
• Prior experience as a pediatric OT/PT is a plus, but not required!

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Passion for working with children is non-negotiable!
• Previous experience in management is preferred but not required
• Prior experience coaching students within the appropriate KidStrong age group is preferred
• Prior experience speaking to and educating parents on the KidStrong curriculum
• Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics
• CPR certified
• Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
• Self-starter who just gets a job done

Compensation: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour

KidStrong is a private child development training center focused on brain, physical & character development for ages walking through 11 years old. KidStrong offers a science-based curriculum that is parent-focused and taught by professionals.
