Cedar Crossing Casino & Entertainment Center is seeking an exceptional Chef to lead the Smokehouse & X-42 kitchen, shape the menu, and build a culinary team renowned for outstanding hospitality. You will guide daily operations, uphold high food quality, safety standards, and cost efficiency, while collaborating with leadership to deliver memorable dining experiences.

You will champion menu development, seasonal offerings, and a strong guest-focused culture, driving innovation and profitability

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 3–5 years culinary experience and/or training.
• Experience as a Pit Master or Sous Chef in a BBQ establishment strongly preferred.
• Serv-Safe Certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen operations for Smokehouse & X-42, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Provide exceptional guest service in collaboration with front-of-house leadership.
• Drive menu development, seasonal updates, and cost-conscious recipes.
• Oversee daily kitchen workflow, safety standards, and sanitation across all stations.
• Analyze food and labor costs, manage inventory, and negotiate with vendors.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and gaming regulations and internal controls.
