Hutchinson Consulting is seeking a Chef de Cuisine to head a luxury resort restaurant in the Colorado mountains, overseeing a state-of-the-art kitchen and a seven-person culinary team in a relaunch of a fine dining concept.

The role is hands-on in a ski area, serving up to 230 covers with a focus on menu development, cost control, and James Beard level quality, reporting to the Executive Chef.

Qualifications

• Strong independent, high-end restaurant group background required.
• Mastery of culinary techniques and menu development.
• Experience with cost control and food cost management; proven leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead a seven-person culinary team in a brand-new, state-of-the-art kitchen.
• Develop and refine menus for a high-end, fine-dining experience.
• Oversee cost control and food cost management across all stations.
• Ensure James Beard level quality and consistency across service.
• Report to the Executive Chef and collaborate with restaurant leadership.
