Siddaganga Incubation Foundation seeks a dynamic Head/CEO to own the mission, drive fundraising, and build a self-sustaining incubation ecosystem in partnership with SIT and government bodies.

The role requires strong leadership and a track record in incubation, innovation management, and ecosystem development, with a contractual engagement to steer strategic initiatives and partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Management, or related field.
• 8–10 years in startup incubation, innovation management, or entrepreneurship development.
• Proven fundraising, stakeholder management, and ecosystem-building experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and networking abilities.

Hiring: Head/CEO

Siddaganga Incubation Foundation (SIF) is a section 08 non-profit entity supported by TTI, DST, Gov. of India, located in Tumkur, Karnataka, hosted by Siddaganga Institute of Technology. The foundation fosters entrepreneurship, focusing on Agri and Rural Innovations.

We are a fast-growing incubation center with a strong belief in nation-building by transforming rural India through innovations. We are seeking a dynamic seasoned professional who can take ownership, drive the mission, and create benchmarks in the ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop models for a self-sustaining incubation ecosystem aligned with SIF’s mission and objectives.
• Work under the guidance of the senior management and Board of SIF.
• Act as the primary interface for entrepreneurs, innovators, partners, and funding bodies ensuring smooth engagement.
• Plan and manage resource mobilization, focusing on fundraising from government bodies, CSR initiatives, and other sources.
• Identify and attract potential incubatees and startups, and serve as a trusted mentor.
• Develop and implement incubation plans, assist in business plans, monitor progress, and support funding proposals.
• Plan and organize workshops, seminars, webinars, summits, and hackathons for incubatees and stakeholders.
• Set up and manage iTBI lab operations for startups and innovators.
• Identify and onboard mentors, experts, investors, and advisors to strengthen the ecosystem.
• Coordinate with government officials and ecosystem partners for training and mentorship programs.
• Collaborate with SIT faculty and HoDs to promote research-driven innovations and lab access.
• Develop revenue-generating programs in entrepreneurship, innovation, and capacity building.
• Forge strategic partnerships with industries, organizations, and government bodies to enhance SIF’s visibility.
• Maintain financial records and ensure compliance, audits, and reporting.
• Coordinate with SIT’s IP Cell for technology commercialization and patent facilitation.
• Identify CSR funding opportunities to support SIF’s goals.
• Initiate and manage MoUs and partnerships to expand ecosystem outreach.
• Perform any other duties related to the Technology Business Incubator (TBI) as assigned by higher authorities.
• The appointee will report to the Principal, Siddaganga Institute of Technology (SIT).

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Management, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in startup incubation, innovation management, or entrepreneurship development.
• Proven experience in fundraising, stakeholder management, and ecosystem building.
• Strong understanding of startup operations, investment processes, and government innovation schemes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and networking skills.

Remuneration

Compensation Package Will Be Commensurate With Profile Experience.
