TIFIN, based in the Boulder/Denver area, seeks an exceptional operator who is technically adept to work directly with the Founder & Executive Chairman on high-priority AI initiatives.
This is not a traditional Chief of Staff role; you will prototype AI-powered workflows, translate business problems into working AI solutions, and drive cross-functional initiatives from idea to execution with product, engineering, and operations teams.
TIFIN builds the AI operating layer for wealth. Our platform delivers agentic workflows across the industry’s core personas—investors, advisors, investment teams, and operations—so financial institutions can move faster, serve more clients, and deliver better outcomes with the same (or fewer) resources. We combine finance-native AI, specialized data, and enterprise-grade controls to deploy secure, compliant capabilities into real production environments.
We are looking for a highly capable, technically inclined operator to work directly with our Founder & Executive Chairman, Dr. Vinay Nair, on some of TIFIN’s highest-priority initiatives.
This is not a traditional Chief of Staff role. We are looking for someone who combines the judgment and range of a strong CEO Chief of Staff with the technical curiosity and hands‑on ability to build with AI.
The right person will be equally comfortable working through a complex problem with the CEO, driving a cross‑functional initiative, and sitting down to prototype an agentic workflow themselves.
Your background could include Chief of Staff, business operations, product, engineering, AI, consulting, founding or operating a startup, or a combination of these. We care more about the combination of technical capability, judgment, and execution than a conventional career path.
Former founders and operators who have built technical products or businesses may be particularly well suited to this role.
This role is based in the Boulder/Denver area and is intended to be highly in‑person, with an expectation of working from the office approximately four to five days per week.
Relocation assistance is available for exceptional candidates currently outside of the area.
$200,000 - $250,000 USD, commensurate with experience.
In addition to cash compensation, a meaningful equity stake is a significant part of the overall package. Package also includes benefits program eligibility, which includes 90-100% medical, vision and dental coverage for you and your dependents, retirement benefits and flexible PTO. See our Careers page for more details.
Please note that we are not able to provide visa sponsorship for this role. Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
