Overview

Head Cashiers greet and thank every customer entering and leaving the store. They must be proficient in all aspects of the Cavender's Boot City cashiering system and knowledgeable of all related paperwork. Responsibilities include maintaining store cleanliness, answering phones professionally, and supporting management with tasks like stocking, visual displays, and special orders.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Support the "Cavender's Culture" and promote our Mission, Vision, and Values.
2. Perform cashiering tasks accurately and efficiently.
3. Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area.
4. Understand CBC policies and cashiering transactions, including sales, check sales, non-taxable sales, credit cards, voids, and exchanges.
5. Enter all sales and monies into the register promptly.
6. Assist with stocking merchandise and store organization.
7. Promote add-on purchases and store specials.
8. Report to work on time, dressed appropriately, and well-groomed.
9. Remain security conscious at all times.
10. Respond knowledgeably to phone inquiries regarding sales, promotions, and store details.
11. Stay updated on sales promotions and inventory control, especially boots.
12. Follow company policies on commission sales and validate sales tickets.
13. Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
14. Collaborate with supervisors to achieve company goals such as ADS, UPTs, and vendor promotions.

Qualifications and Requirements
