Job summary

Blain’s Farm & Fleet in Loves Park, IL is hiring a Head Cashier to ensure a smooth shopping experience. You will reconcile cash receipts, monitor payroll information, and perform duties of a Retail Cashier and Customer Care Desk Clerk.

The role requires strong communication, prior retail experience, weekend availability, and the ability to pass a background check; benefits begin after 91 days and include medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Great communication skills.
• Prior retail experience preferred.
• Able to work evenings when needed and at least every other weekend.
• Able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Fill the registers with change
• Balance the store safe
• Transport of reserve money to and from the bank
• Reconcile reserve money
• Order and maintain store office supplies
• Balance DNR receipts
• Complete and file required paperwork
• Manage Gift Registry and assist customers
• Help in other departments as assigned
• Demonstrate awareness and compliance with Loss Prevention and safety policies and procedures
